1. To help lower-income households cope with the public transport fare adjustment, the Government had announced that Public Transport Vouchers (PTVs) worth $50 each would be made available to resident households with monthly household income per person of not more than $1,600, under the 2023 PTV Exercise.
2. Similar to previous years, the 2023 PTV Exercise is carried out in two stages. Under the first stage, which was completed in December 2023, over 240,000 households that had received a voucher during the 2022 PTV Exercise and continue to meet the income eligibility criteria received notification letters on their PTVs.
3. Under the second stage, which will be from 15 January 2024 to 31 October 2024, households that meet the eligibility criteria but did not receive a voucher in the first stage can apply for PTVs online at
https://www.go.gov.sg/ptv or in person at their local Community Centres/Clubs (CCs).
4. Households who have received a PTV notification letter can follow the instructions on the letter to redeem their voucher via the SimplyGo app or at any SimplyGo Kiosks, Top-Up Kiosks, Assisted Service Kiosks, SimplyGo Ticket Offices or SimplyGo Ticketing Service Centres. Vouchers for the 2023 PTV Exercise are valid until 31 March 2025. Residents may approach their local CCs if they have any queries.
